Timex’s affordable new Waterbury features a rotating disc of Looney Tunes characters

2026 has been a big year for Snoopy watches, with Timex churning out Peanuts-themed takes on everything from its Marlin and Expedition to the Weekender. Now the Waterbury watchmaker is turning its attention to another hit cartoon franchise: Looney Tunes.
The Looney Tunes Bugs and Friends x Timex Standard (TW2Y99100) takes the familiar Waterbury Standard and gives it a playful twist. It's part of the company's latest Looney Tunes drop and joins the Bugs Bunny M79 automatic and three affordable quartz models featuring Tweety Bird, Marvin the Martian, and Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote.
At first glance, the new Waterbury Standard looks like a fairly straightforward everyday timepiece, featuring a polished, silver-tone 40mm case paired with a crisp white dial and a black fabric slip-thru strap.
But look just above the central hands, and you’ll find the real party trick: a rotating character disc, which turns throughout the day to reveal different members of the Looney Tunes gang, from Tweety and Sylvester to Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, and Marvin the Martian. There are carrots thrown into the mix, too.
Bugs Bunny occupies the lower half of the dial, looking as mischievous as ever, while luminous accents on the hands and Arabic numerals help with readability after dark.
The rest of the package is a pretty standard affair. You get a battery-powered quartz movement handling timekeeping, while Timex’s signature Indiglo backlight illuminates the dial. Finally, the watch is rated for 50-meter water resistance, making it suitable for everyday wear and light swimming.
