Timex teams up with menswear icon for a striking new dress watch

Timex has teamed up with menswear enthusiast and author Matt Hranek to introduce a new vintage-inspired dress watch. The WM Brown x Timex Rectangle Watch Gift Set marks the first collaboration between the watchmaker and Hranek’s WM Brown brand, bringing a distinctly old-school aesthetic to the company’s growing collection of collaborative timepieces.
Hranek and Timex have opted for a rectangular design reminiscent of classic dress watches. The resulting timepiece combines a silver-tone dial with a compact stainless-steel case and a choice of two interchangeable straps.
The watch features a two-tone dial with full Arabic numerals, conventional hour and minute hands, and a small seconds subdial positioned at 6 o’clock. A subtle sundial-inspired motif occupies the center of the dial, while the Timex and WM Brown branding appears toward the bottom. The overall design leans heavily into vintage aesthetics without introducing too many decorative elements.
Its stainless-steel case measures 26.5 mm across and 41.3 mm lug-to-lug, with a thickness of 10 mm. Timex has combined vertically brushed surfaces on the top with horizontal brushing along the sides. Polished, diamond-cut edges and sharply angled lugs complete the rectangular profile.
Underneath the dial is a Japanese Miyota 1L40 quartz movement, which powers the watch’s three-hand configuration, including its small seconds display. Other specifications include a mineral glass crystal, 50 meters of water resistance, and a 20 mm lug width.
As its name suggests, the WM Brown x Timex arrives as a gift set. Buyers receive both a brown leather strap with a conventional stainless-steel buckle and a matching stainless-steel bracelet with a butterfly deployant clasp. Both attachments feature quick-release spring bars, letting users switch between the two without extra tools.
The WM Brown x Timex Rectangle Watch Gift Set (TWG069000) is available through Timex’s US store for $349. The company officially announced the collaboration on October 27, 2026. Pricing and availability in other markets have not yet been confirmed.
