This is NOT the Pixel 4

Someone did not do their homework on this one. You may have seen some "exclusive" Pixel 4 live images today, but do not believe the hype. We reveal unequivocally why these are merely faked leaks.

Another day, another "exclusive" flagship smartphone leak. Or not, as the case is with this one. Earlier today GSMArena published "Exclusive: Google Pixel 4 live images leak, show punch hole selfie cam and smaller bezels". Apparently, the source of these photos is Shivam Pandya, who tweets as @Shivampandyap5, although he has not taken credit for the photos despite posting numerous times in the last 24 hours.

Embarrassingly, GSMArena has since changed the title of its article to "Alleged Google Pixel 4 live images...", shortly after OnLeaks questioned the authenticity of the "exclusive" photos. Things started to unravel when we looked at the photos closely. The first shows a device with dual punch-hole front-facing cameras with no notch. The next photo is of two devices, the larger of which has an earpiece at the top of the display. Likewise, the smaller one has dual front-facing speakers.

In short, these are two smartphones that someone has poorly masqueraded as the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. We are unsure what they are, but speculatively the smaller one looks like the Google Pixel 3. Do not always believe usually reliable websites, people.
