The Seiko SSB446P1 chronograph is down to only $196.40 at Walmart, with a sporty 43 mm design, 100 m water resistance, and Seiko’s reliable 8T63 quartz movement. It’s one of the lowest prices tracked recently, with free shipping included.

In a new Black Friday deal, Seiko’s SSB446P1 has dropped to $196.40 at Walmart. This is a sizeable cut from its original $350 listing. While this model isn’t exactly new, it sits in a very sweet spot for buyers who want a sporty chronograph with a cleaner dial layout and dependable quartz movement without crossing into higher mid-range pricing. And under $200, it does exactly that.

The watch features a 43 mm stainless-steel case finished in gold tone, paired with a black dial and gold hands. The layout includes three sub-dials for the chronograph minutes, running seconds, and 24-hour time. Seiko uses its standard quartz chronograph movement here - the Caliber 8T63 - which is battery-powered and known for stable accuracy and relatively low maintenance. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters.

The SSB446P1's highlight is certainly its design. Seiko has used a gold-tone tachymeter bezel with a black rubber strap, which gives the watch a casual-sport look rather than the steel bracelet style seen on many SSB-series models. The crystal material used is sapphire, which, again, is great on a sub-$200 chronograph. Other details include a 22 mm band width, rubber strap, stainless-steel case, brass components in certain parts of the assembly, and standard chronograph functionality. Thanks to the strap, the watch weighs noticeably less than its steel-bracelet siblings, which should make it more comfortable for extended wear.

Pricing data shows that Walmart’s current $196.40 is effectively its 6-month low, with no fluctuations recorded above or below that in recent tracking. For a Seiko chronograph with this design and a 100m water resistance rating, the price lands in quite a reasonable zone, especially when compared to the SSB series’ usual $220-$280 range on many retailers. The deal also includes free shipping and free holiday returns through January 31, which adds a bit more practicality for buyers considering it as a gift or replacing an everyday watch.
