It now costs just $949.99 at Best Buy. Taking into account the hardware design and specs of the Zenbook S 16, it is quite clear that $949.99 is a pretty good price for the laptop.

Asus Zenbook S 16 impressed in our review with only a few minor flaws

We rated the Asus Zenbook S 16 at 84% in our review. The laptop packs a generally snappy 10-core Ryzen AI 9 365 APU, 24 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage, and a stunning ceramic-aluminum construction. The input devices are also good, particularly the large glass touchpad.

Aside from these qualities, the star of the show is the gorgeous 16-inch OLED display. The panel has almost everything you could want from a multimedia display. It delivers punchy and accurate colors with OLED’s characteristic contrast, factory calibration, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. The brightness also touches 400 nits. A smooth 120 Hz refresh rate is the cherry on top.

The Asus Zenbook S 16 is also a pretty fast machine for day-to-day use, as shown by our PCMark 10 scores. The Ryzen AI 9 365 can also hold its own in heavy tasks, but you’ll have to temper expectations as it is only running at a limited TDP inside the Zenbook S 16.
