The Samsung Galaxy Watch 2 will have a rotating bezel, among other new features
With Samsung apparently set to release a new Galaxy Watch this year, SamMobile has reported that the company plans to bring the physical rotating bezel back, too. Samsung had replaced this with a touch-sensitive solution on the Galaxy Watch Active 2, while its predecessor lacked even that.
Citing unknown sources, SamMobile suggests that it will operate in a similar manner to the one that Samsung included with the original Galaxy Watch. According to multiple certifications, the next Galaxy Watch will come in four variants. Samsung has codenamed these SM-R840, SM-R845, SM-R850 and SM-R855. The SM-R84x models will have a 41 mm watch face, with Samsung opting for a 45 mm face with the SM-R85x versions. Additionally, the SM-R840 and SM-R850 will be Wi-Fi only models, with LTE reserved for the SM-R845 and SM-R855.
Moreover, the Galaxy Watch 2 is expected to be waterproof up to 5 ATM and MIL-STD-810G certified. ECG functionality should be on board for all model too, as should GPS.
