GPD has started selling the GPD XP online. The Android-based gaming handheld has a 6.81-inch display, a 7,000 mAh battery, modular controllers and is available for under US$350.

Last month, GPD announced that it would be launching its XP gaming handheld on Indiegogo. While the crowdfunding campaign is still not active, the company has started selling the device on AliExpress.

To recap, the GPD XP has a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC backed by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The device also has a 7,000 mAh battery and a 6.81-inch display operating at 2,400 x 1,080 pixels.

Essentially, GPD has taken a mid-range smartphone and has bolted on controllers. One end is modular though, allowing you to choose between controller methods. GPD will ship the XP with all modular controller layouts, for reference, rather than you needing to purchase them separately.

Currently, the GPD XP is available to order on AliExpress for US$341, although the retailer offers coupons to bring the price down. The device can be configured with AU, EU, JP, UK or US plugs.
