If you are looking for an electric pickup truck with a long driving range, Chevy has got one for you. The American auto brand has officially revealed the 2026 Silverado EV, featuring up to 493 miles of range between charges and a variant tailored for the outdoorsy demographic.
The pickup truck still comes in three trims. The Standard Work Truck offers up to 286 miles (all driving range estimates are EPA except otherwise specified) and starts at $54,895. The Extended version comes in at $68,295, with a driving range of up to 424 miles. Meanwhile, the Max will set buyers back by $76,295 but offers the longest driving range of the bunch, at 493 miles.
The Standard LT has the shortest range at 283 miles and costs $62,995, while the Extended is nearly $10,000 more expensive with 410 miles driving range. The Max can go up to 478 miles before needing a charge, but it costs $91,295.
The rugged Trail Boss trim will delight off-road enthusiasts with its two versions. The Extended offers 410 miles for $72,095, while the Max version can last 478 miles (GM estimates) and costs $88,695.
The Trail Boss is equipped with a more refined suspension and higher ground clearance to navigate uneven roads. Chevy has also added a Terrain Mode for a better driving experience, along with some distinguishing features such as special badging, 35-inch tires, and red tow hooks.
Performance-wise, the new Trail Boss can output up to 760 hp and 775 lb-ft torque. It can dash from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and tow up to 12,500 lbs. The bed can accommodate about 2,100 lbs of payload.
Inside, the 11-inch driver display is complemented by a 14-inch Head-Up Display (HUD). The center display is 17.7 inches diagonally and touch-enabled.
