General Motors has slashed $27,500 off the new 2026 GMC Sierra EV pickup, which got even more capable. The automaker, however, is helping buyers of the 2025 edition save with a 2.9% APR offer.

General Motors has introduced two new variants for the 2026 GMC Sierra EV pickup truck, with prices dropping by $27,500. Leasing has also dipped to $559 per month from $949.

The 2026 GMC Sierra EV comes in Elevation and AT4, in addition to the 2025 trims. The Elevation starts at $64,495, which is significantly cheaper than the $92,290 base price of the 2025 version. GM offers an Extended version of the Elevation that increases the driving range from 283 miles to 410 miles, but it costs $72,695.

The Standard AT4 has a driving range of 390 miles and starts at $81,395, while the Extended version lasts 470 miles between charges and sets you back by $91,695. Other 2026 variants include the Standard Denali ($71,795), Extended Denali ($79,995), and Max Denali ($100,695).

The Elevation and Denali trims qualify for the $7,500 federal tax credit (for as long as it lasts) as they are priced under $80,000.

GM claims the 2026 GMC Sierra EV can accept up to 350 kW, allowing the pickup truck to add about 100 miles in 10 minutes. The powertrain output and towing capacity have been upgraded to 605 hp and 12,300 lbs on the base Elevation trim.

Other notable features include the MultiPro Tailgate for increased flexibility in transporting items in the bed, a Google-powered infotainment system centered on a 16.8-inch display, and Super Cruise ADAS.

Customers opting for the outgoing 2025 edition can save if they take advantage of the 2.9% APR offer for 72 months, paired with a $3,000 Purchase Allowance.
