Chevrolet is making one of its well-regarded electric SUVs more affordable to lease in a special promotion running until September 2. The American automaker will allow US buyers pay as low as $225.8/month for 24 months for the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV LT FWD.
The electric SUV lease deal requires a $2,500 down payment at signing. However, Chevrolet is waiving any security deposit, although it requires customers to be credit-approved.
The Equinox EV is leasing for so low an amount when Chevrolet’s Incentives & GM Rewards worth $3,000 is factored in, in addition to a dealer contribution. The latter means the final monthly payments could vary based on the dealer. The calculation also includes a Costco EV lease offer of $1,250 for Executive members.
The deal gets even better with up $1,250 in Conquest Offer for customers who own or lease a 2011 or newer non-GM vehicle, meaning the monthly payments could be lower than $225. Yet further reduction could come from GM’s Military, Educator, and First Responder Appreciation discount programs for qualified lessees.
The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV LT FWD seats five. It offers a driving range of up to 319 miles, according to EPA standards. Other key features include a 26.40 cubic feet cargo space, a 17.7-inch touch-enabled central display unit, an 11-inch digital instrument panel, Adaptive Cruise Control, and compatibility with Tesla’s Superchargers with an adapter.
Edmunds gave the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV thumbs up for its long driving range, smooth ride, and roomy seating.
