Hyundai has extended the opportunity to lease one of the most highly regarded electric crossover SUVs for less. The 2025 Ioniq 5 SE Standard Range RWD is being offered for as low as $179/month for 24 months until September 30.
This affordable electric car lease deal requires a $3,999 down payment at signing, which includes the first month's payment. This includes the $7,500 EV Lease Bonus, which helps reduce the capitalized cost to $24,380.
Hyundai will allow lessees to purchase the EV at the end of the contract for just $22,542, plus a $300 purchase option fee. However, not all customers will qualify for this deal, as lower credit ratings could result in higher lease rates. Dealer contributions could also affect the actual lease payment.
The 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 SE Standard Range RWD starts at $42,600. It offers an EPA-estimated driving range of 245 miles, and the 63 kWh battery can charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes with DC Fast charging. An icing on the cake is that the car is a Tesla Supercharger-compatible EV with a NACS adapter.
The drivetrain produces 168 hp from a single rear-mounted electric motor.
Other key features include a 12.3-inch touch-enabled screen for accessing settings and infotainment, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 26.3 cu-ft cargo capacity with an additional 0.85 cu-ft of storage space under the hood, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Car and Driver found the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 to be cool-looking and fun to drive. However, they judged the front storage space to be minuscule.
