TexHoo QN15 launches as affordable mini PC with Intel Twin Lake CPU

TexHoo has introduced a brand-new Twin Lake mini PC, the QN15. It features the Intel N150, which is basically the same CPU as the N100 with some tweaks. To be specific, it has the same 4-core and 4-thread configuration, but the N150 has a turbo clock of 3.6 GHz instead of 3.4 GHz.

This Twin Lake CPU of the mini PC can be paired with up to 16 GB of DDR4 memory, and there's one M.2 2280 slot that can be equipped with an NVME SSD (2 TB Samsung 990 EVO Plus curr. $139.99 on Amazon). The QN15 also comes with a rich selection of ports, including:

• 1x Gigabit LAN
• 2x USB 3.2 Type-A
• 2x USB 2.0 Type-A
• 1x USB Type-C

Unlike the QN10 from TexHoo, the newer mini PC misses out on WiFi 6. Instead, it has WiFi 5, and for additional wireless connectivity, there's Bluetooth 4.0, which is also generations behind. Another thing to note is that the USB-C port doesn't support display output, meaning that the QN15 can only offer dual-display output through the two HDMI ports.

Other highlights of the new mini PC include a sleek and compact chassis, support for VESA mount, and an active cooler. The barebone configuration of the QN15 currently costs $97.79 on AliExpress, and the top-end config with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD goes for $139.84.
