Tesla vehicles to get Apple Podcasts with the next Holiday update
Apple Podcasts, one of the popular apps for podcasts across the world, will now be arriving in Tesla vehicles with the next software update. The app will be available to Tesla Model X, Model S, Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck owners once the update rolls out.
Earlier today, Tesla made an official announcement about the upcoming 2023 holiday update, where it revealed the addition of Apple Podcasts. As per reports, the podcast app will have a similar interface to that of its Apple counterparts, so users will have access to most of the features they are familiar with. The app’s playback will be integrated with Tesla’s system, which would enable drivers to use it conveniently.
To start using the app, users will have to log in using their Apple ID and scan a QR code. Once signed in, users will then be able to listen to their podcasts with a cellular internet connection and an Apple Podcast subscription. Further, as the playback will be synced, users can continue listening over multiple Apple devices, like iPhones and iPads.
Along with a list of upcoming features, the announcement stated that the holiday update is coming next week. However, no date was specified.
