The days of the Cybertruck being restricted to North America are finally coming to an end. Tesla has announced that the steel pickup truck will be available in the Middle East before 2025 runs out.
The Cybertruck account on X posted a teaser video showing the distinctly shaped EV plowing through the rugged terrain commonly associated with the Middle East, asking, “What if I told you I’m coming to the Middle East this year?”
According to Tesla’s website, the first countries to receive the Cybertruck are Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Qatar in late 2025. The company also officially launched sales in Saudi Arabia, with orders open for the Model 3 and Model Y.
Thanks to the popularity of bigger and more luxurious vehicles in the Middle East, the Cybertruck will find many admirers. Its larger proportions will also feel at home on the region’s wide roads.
Tesla will be keen to boost the Cybertruck sales as a recent recall reveals the sci-fi-inspired vehicle has not been off to a flying start. However, what is not clear is whether the company will export the same US models, which remain banned in the UK, or a modified version.
