Tesla Model S And Model X now available in Europe
The Tesla Model S Plaid and Tesla Model X Plaid electric vehicles are available again in European countries, including the Netherlands, France and Italy. According to the Tesla website, customers can expect delivery between December 2022 and February 2023. You can now order a car with a €250 (~US$255) non-refundable order fee.
The Model S Plaid starts at €139,990 (~US$142,520) in the Netherlands, €138,990 (~US$141,502) in France and €140,990 (~US$143,538) in Italy. The tri-motor all-wheel drive car has up to 600 km (~373 miles) range, a maximum speed of 322 kph (~200 mph) and over 10,020 hp. The electric vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph (~60 mph) in 2.1 seconds, with Tesla claiming it is the fastest accelerating car currently in production.
The Model X Plaid is slightly more expensive, starting from €143,990 (~US$146,592) in the Netherlands, €141,990 (~US$144,556) in France and €144,990 (~US$147,610) in Italy. The order book has been closed for these two models for around 18 months, with the last requests taken in December 2021. Tesla paused manufacturing in early 2021 and planned to wait for the cars to be updated before resuming production. The website also notes that the dual motor all-wheel drive Tesla Model S and Model X variants will be available to order next year, though it does not specify precisely when this will be.
