There are many Mini-PCs on the market, but are few are as powerful as the latest effort by TOPTON, a Chinese PC manufacturer. The machine measures 146 x 150 x 66 m, yet features a range of 45 W Intel processors. TOPTON currently offers the Mini-PC with four processor options, which range from the Coffee Lake-H based Core i9-9880H to the newer Core i9-10880H/Core i9-10885H.
TOPTON has also equipped two SO-DIMM slots onto the 120 x 120 x mm motherboard, along with two M.2 2280 slots that support NVMe SSDs and a SATA 3.0 connector for adding a 2.5-inch drive. There is also an M.2 2230 slot for adding a Bluetooth/Wi-Fi module.
Additionally, the machine has seven USB ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet connections, an HDMI port and a DisplayPort connection. TOPTON has included three of these USB ports on the front of the device, which are situated next to a power button. The DisplayPort, HDMI and USB Type-C all support 4K video output, although the HDMI port is limited to 30 Hz. By contrast, the other two display outputs can operate at 60 Hz.
TOPTON sells its Mini-PC from US$342 on AliExpress with no RAM or storage. The Core i9-10880H/Core i9-10885H is a US$180 upgrade, while TOPTON charges US$1,147 for the Core i9 Comet Lake-H model with 64 GB of RAM and 2 TB of NVMe storage.
