The Szbox DS135D is a new notebook with two touchscreens and comes in different memory variants.

The Szbox DS135D is an unusual notebook, as it comes with two touchscreens. Each screens is 13.5 inches in size, providing a more-than-decent work surface. The notebook can also be opened up like a book, allowing for documents to be easily displayed. The two screens are intended for high productivity, but for truly productive use, a keyboard and mouse are likely to be necessary.

While the manufacturer is attempting to create a selling point with the two screens, this is unlikely to suceed with the computing power available. This consists only of a N100 processor from Intel, which is quite limited in terms of performance. Its TDP is specified as 15 watts and the processor has 4 computing cores, which can only process 4 threads due to the lack of hyperthreading. The laptop is available in various variants, specifically with an SSD with a capacity of between 128 GB - 2 TB. The RAM is always 16 GB. An SSD connected via NVMe is installed.

The other features are quite decent, including two USB Type C ports that are intended to support the full range of functions provided by the standard and are thus also suitable for outputting image content. USB 3.0 and a jack plug are also on board, as is Wi-Fi. As an import, the laptop is on sale at prices starting at just under US$700, but we would advise against a direct import due to the considerable risks in regard to the enforceability of warranty claims.
