Updated | Surface Laptop 3 13-inch and 15-inch marketing images surface

Here is the Surface Laptop 3 in all its glory, well most of it anyway. Evan Blass has published a slew of marketing photos in the last 24 hours of the 13-inch and anticipated 15-inch versions of the upcoming laptop, but we remain none the wiser on all the ports that either will feature.

The photos show that both models retain the Surface Connect of previous Surface devices, but not whether they also include USB Type-C too as the Surface Pro 7 has been shown to have. Visually, little distinguishes the 13-inch and 15-inch variants, except for the larger spaces between the keyboard and trackpad on the latter model. The two devices appear to have the same sized keyboard keys and trackpad, though.

We now expect the Surface Laptop 3 to launch in at least four colours, with Black, Blue and Silver all returning. Blass has published photos of a Rose Gold version too, but we would not necessarily rule out this being a region exclusive as the Blush version of the Surface Laptop 2 was with the Chinese market. (Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 on sale now at Amazon)

Tomorrow's event will reveal all, including whether Microsoft will announce AMD powered variants of the 15-inch Surface Laptop 3 as has been rumored. The Surface hardware event looks set to showcase more than just the Surface Laptop 3 and Surface Pro 7 too.
