Version 2.20 of the DolphiniOS Nintendo Wii and Nintendo GameCube emulator just arrived for Apple devices. Jailbroken users can get DolphiniOS on Cydia. Meanwhile, those of us on the iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11, and other A13 devices on iOS 13.4.1 and below without viable jailbreaks can still avail the emulator on the AltStore.
DolphiniOS's latest version enables support for A13 devices. Dolphin is very demanding, meaning that older iOS devices aren't able to run most titles full-speed. Under version 2.20 of DolphiniOS, the iPhone 11 series, the iPhone SE, the new iPad Pro and other modern devices should make full-speed gameplay possible in titles like Super Smash Bros Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy. Test builds of version 3.0 are also available to Patreon subscribers over on the DolphiniOS Patreon.
iOS 13 enabled native support for Xbox One and PS4 controllers, meaning that iPhone and iPad Dolphin users won't have to deal with the finicky touch controls. Version 2.2 of DolphiniOS supports configurable controllers: iPad Super Smash Bros Brawl sessions with friends have finally become a reality.
