Introduced in 2021 at a starting price of US$329.99, the Apple iPad 10.2 (2021) is an excellent budget tablet. BestBuy is now offering the tablet for US$249.99, a discount of US$80 (via slickdeals). According to Honey’s price history tool, this is the lowest price for the iPad 10.2 (2021) on the store in the last four months.
When it comes to the specs, the entry-level model of the Apple iPad 10.2 comes with the A13 Bionic SoC, 3 GB of memory, 64 GB of storage, and a 32.4 Wh battery. On the surface the internals may not look impressive but, as we find out in our review of the device, the Apple iPad 10.2 (2021) is a pretty good product in almost all departments.
Customary of Apple products, the build quality of the iPad 10.2 (2021) is excellent with an all-aluminum unibody. The tablet also has a decent IPS display with close to 500 nits of brightness. Even with the older A13 Bionic, it can handle almost everything you can throw at it. Finally, the battery runtime is equally good, as the iPad 10.2 (2021) lasted for more than 13 hours in our Wi-Fi test.
All in all, if you are in the market for an affordable tablet that does the basics really well, the US$249.99 iPad 10.2 (2021) from BestBuy will prove difficult to beat.
