The new Starlink V4 satellite dish and Internet router paraphernalia have now arrived in Target stores with self installation instructions. The retailer also offers Residential and Roam service plan subscriptions and 30-day returns.

Target has now begun selling the latest mesh Starlink V4 satellite Internet kits with an offer for free shipping as well as a 30-day return option.

"This item must be returned within 30 days of the date it was purchased in store, shipped, delivered by a Shipt shopper, or made ready for pickup," says Target.

The advantage of having Starlink offered by brick-and-mortar retail chains like Target is that the dish and Internet kit can be returned by dropping them off at stores. Otherwise, one has to ship them and wait for a refund if Starlink download speeds are not up to par in their cabin or wherever one decides to install it.

The Starlink satellite Internet kit at Target includes SpaceX's latest rectangular V4 dish with more powerful antenna, the new Wi-fi 6 router, base for installation, cables, and a Quick Start Guide. So quick, in fact, that Target advertises its Starlink kit as a self installation option, saying that it "arrives with everything you need to get online within minutes."

Target has priced the Starlink Internet kit at $599, or the same as SpaceX, and advises that the service still needs a month-to-month subscription.

"Try any Starlink service and if not satisfied, cancel service at any time," advises Target, pointing at the Residential and Roaming tiers as best suited for the Starlink Mesh Standard Kit that it is now selling.

Starlink Residential costs $120/month for unlimited satellite Internet data, while the Roaming tier is designed for those with RVs and campers on the move at $150/month with unlimited data inland within the confines of a specific continent. Those who need the dish for truly global roaming will have to shell out $200/month, while 50GB of priority high-speed data will be $50 extra then.

The appearance of Starlink dishes at Target marks another step in the SpaceX push for retail presence, after Starlink kits started selling at Costco, Best Buy, or Home Depot.
