Sportier Tesla Model 3 Performance seats appear in live shots on 'engineering vehicle' wrapped in camo

One of the 2024 Tesla Model 3 Highland Performance upgrades has been rumored to be better sports seat with more lumbar support on the side for those sharp cornering episodes. Given that the Model 3 Performance and its expected Ludicrous acceleration are about to drop soon, those longing for more oomph from their electric sedan would be happy to hear that the sportier seats in question may have already been caught on camera.

Over the weekend, the suspected 2024 Model 3 Performance has been caught testing and charging around Santa Monica in its typical covered camo fashion. Tall, white bucket-style seats are clearly visible on the inside of the Model 3 Performance "engineering vehicle" as Tesla has writes on the sides.

The camouflaged Highland Performance mule has been spotted testing before, and it featured the same different front bumper lip split as the one that can be seen in the new pictures. Apart from the more streamlined and aggressive exterior, or the new sports seats, the Model 3 Performance is expected to feature "a few things we left on the table" as one Tesla rep put it.

The rumored insane acceleration in under 3 seconds has a very high chance to be among those options, as the red brake calipers of the test mule suggest. The 2024 Model 3 Performance price is rumored to be 30% higher than the current top Highland trim which would put its price tag in the US towards the $55,000 mark when it is released some time in the April-June period.
