2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance reveals all of its Ludicrous-badged vortex glory

Tesla has been caught filming several new promo videos these days. Besides the sort of "Superchargers for all" ad the highlights the ease of charging non-Tesla cars, the 2024 Model 3 Highland Performance version is also being filmed before release.

The Tesla film crew is currently in Valencia, Spain, and is capturing footage with the Model 3 Performance, finally without its test mule camouflage. The immediate and obvious design differences with the Model 3 Highland LR are visible all around the Performance sedan.

There is indeed a badge with Tesla's Ludicrous vortex at the back, inspired by the Spaceballs parody movie from the 80s. The front lip split, as well as the rear spoiler and trisectional diffuser give it a more aerodynamic and aggressive look. So do the lower suspension and the red brake calipers with which the 2024 Performance has been snapped before.

Last but not least, the white leather bucket seats add to the sportier feel from the inside, and are designed for better lateral support in sharp cornering that the car will certainly be capable of. The only 2024 Model 3 Performance specs to learn now are its range and acceleration, but the 0-60 mph number is very likely to be under 3 seconds.

The Highland's Performance version price is expected to be about 30% higher than the Model 3 LR, though, so all that Ludicrous acceleration will come with a tag.
