MWC 2017 | Sony Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra now official
Last year's Sony Xperia XA handsets have just received two successors. The Japanese company has just revealed the Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra, both with overall mid-range features but a top-of-the-line main camera.
These are the highlights of these two new Sony handsets:
- Xperia XA1 - 5-inch 720p, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, 8 MP front camera, 2,300 mAh
- Xperia XA1 Ultra - 6-inch full HD, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage, 16 MP front camera with optical stabilization, 2,700 mAh
In addition to the above, there are a lot of common specs - MediaTek Helio P20 processor, 23 MP main camera with 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor, microSD support up to 256 GB, Android Nougat.
The new Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra feature multiple Sony-exclusive enhancements, such as stamina mode for improved battery life, Qnovo Adaptive Charging, and Xperia Actions (provides custom settings suggestions based on the user's habits).
Both handsets are expected to hit the market this spring in white, black, pink, and gold. There is no detailed information on pricing and launch dates yet, but we will keep you posted.
