Sony Xperia XA1 is a mid-ranger that can be already purchased in various parts of the world, including India. However, the Japanese company was not in a hurry to bring it to the US market until now. Fortunately, those located in the US who are interested in this smartphone will finally be able to grab one starting on May 1.
This handset has a high-end camera and average specs overall. It uses an octa-core processor by MediaTek (the Helio P20), next to 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, also sporting a microSD slot with support for memory cards up to 256 GB. The 5-inch display only offers 1,280X720 pixels, but the 8 MP front camera is accompanied by a 23 MP Exmor RS main image shooter on the back with 24 mm lens and f/2.0 aperture. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and uses a 2,300 mAh battery.
The Xperia XA1 comes in white, pink, black, or gold. It should work with all major US carriers and can be purchased unlocked for $299.99 USD via Amazon, Best Buy, Fry's, and others.
