Skoda Peaq revealed: Large 7-seater electric SUV with over 600 km range

Skoda will launch the Peaq in mid-2026. This new electric SUV is based on the Vision 7S concept study. It is built on Volkswagen's MEB (modular electric drive platform). Even at first glance, the Peaq, which is still currently camouflaged, appears to be larger than previous Skoda models.
With an overall length of 4.87 metres, the Peaq is clearly ahead of the Kodiaq by 11.6 centimetres. The wheelbase increases by an impressive 17.4 centimetres to 2.96 metres. Skoda has used the additional space in the Peaq to create a more spacious interior: the electric SUV is available as either a five-seater or a large seven-seater E-SUV. With five seats, the trunk has a capacity of 1,010 litres.
This means that the Peaq exceeds the Kodiaq by exactly 100 litres in terms of load volume. Skoda is also clearly positioning the Peaq as a long-distance vehicle in terms of its drive system. The entry-level 60 model has a 63 kWh battery, rear-wheel drive and 150 kW of power, providing a range of over 460 kilometres.
The large 90 and 90x models surpass this with their powerful 91 kWh battery, enabling ranges of over 600 kilometres. The 90 model has 210 kW of power and rear-wheel drive, while the top-of-the-range 90x has 220 kW of power and all-wheel drive with two electric motors. All battery variants can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in under 28 minutes at a fast charger.
Inside, Skoda prioritises maximum comfort, installing the largest panoramic roof in the company's history. A high-end Sonos sound system provides the right acoustics. A special equipment package is being put together for the German market, including ergonomic seats with a massage function, leg rests, and an integrated wellness app that transforms the vehicle into a mobile lounge during charging breaks.
