Although most audiophiles will always use wired headphones, the introduction of Apple's AirPods seems to force other major brands to come up with such accessories. Now, the time has arrived for Sennheiser to unveil a new pair of in-ear headphones. Dubbed HD 1 In-Ear Wireless, these wireless earbuds are quite different from Apple's minimalist AirPods.
The Sennheiser HD 1 In-Ear Wireless earbuds come with an integrated microphone and use vibrations for alerts. NFC and Bluetooth 4.1 are both present, so connecting them to two devices simultaneously is not a problem. The list of features also includes Qualcomm aptX and AAC codec support. The neckband comes with stitched nappa leather, while the sound tunnels use a custom machined stainless steel design. At last, the 10-hour autonomy should also be taken into account when deciding if these headphones are worthy of attention or not.
Sennheiser has the official product page up already, but there is no pricing information yet. However, it looks like the HD 1 In-Ear Wireless should hit the market later this month, so we will get back to these wireless in-ear headphones for mobile devices as soon as that happens.
