Tech enthusiasts who have recently bought a new television or plan to buy one of the many steeply discounted 2024 OLED models in the foreseeable future might want to earmark a few extra dollars to invest into a fitting Dolby Atmos soundbar, such as Sennheiser Ambeo that is currently on sale.
More specifically, the Sennheiser Ambeo Mini has dropped to its lowest price ever as the New York City-based eletronics seller B&H Photo Video has cut the official list price of $799 in half and offers the Dolby Atmos-capable soundbar from the German manufacturer for just $399 including free shipping. For reference, other well-known retailers like Best Buy are currently asking $499 for this audio system.
In any case, prospective buyers should read Rtings' detailed review before ordering the Sennheiser soundbar. The TV experts gave the Ambeo Mini and its 7.1.4-channel setup with a total output of 250 watts a decent overall rating of 7.1 out of 10 possible points. They noted that the speaker system can get quite loud and features a useful 4-band equalizer as well as dialogue enhancer. Moreover, it supports Dolby Digital, Dolby Atmos and many other audio formats.
On the other hand, the Sennheiser Ambeo does not come with a dedicated subwoofer and therefore lacks some deep bass. It goes without saying that the surround sound performance is also limited due to the missing rear speakers. That said, the Ambeo Mini sounds a lot better than integrated television speakers and can be expanded with a subwoofer later on, so TV owners who would like to upgrade their audio and don't have too much space should check out this deal.
