The flagship Galaxy S series tends to steal the spotlight from Samsung's more mainstream and budget families. The Galaxy A series, for example, offers very good features for much lower price points. The A3 and A5 both scored 86 and 87 percent in our full reviews, respectively, while the A7 scored an even higher 88 percent.
Now, unconfirmed media reports from South Korea are claiming that Samsung is already developing successors to the A3, A5, and A7 known as the SM-A310F, SM-A510F, SM-A710F, SM-A5100, and SM-A7100. Russia will purportedly receive the Ax10F models while China will get the Ax100 models.
The source further speculates that Samsung will make some significant chassis changes to the A series beyond just the usual hardware optimizations. For example, we may see more than just Android updates and better quality microphones and speakers.
