New renders have offered another look at the proposed Galaxy Z Fold 3, one of Samsung's foldable smartphones for 2021. The renders are based on past leaks, including now-deleted promotional material.

Last month, leaked promotional material for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 surfaced online, only to be swiftly deleted again. Stylised as the Galaxy Z Fold3, the foldable is thought to be joined by a new Galaxy Z Flip later this year. In the meantime, someone has created high-resolution renders based on the asserts that leaked in May.

The renders are fan-made, and they only illustrate what has already appeared online. Hence, they may not necessarily reflect Samsung's final design. Nonetheless, they provide a clear depiction of how the Galaxy Z Fold 3 could look if Samsung adopted flat edges and rounded corners, much like Apple has with the iPhone 12 series.

They are close to what emerged last month, so we would not rule this design out yet. Apparently, Samsung will use 120 Hz panels for the cover and inner displays this year, something it decided against doing with the Galaxy Z Fold2. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to support Samsung's S Pen too, and should have a more robust inner display to match. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 may only offer minimal camera improvements over its predecessor, unfortunately.
