Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic product slides leak ahead of August 11 unveiling
The Galaxy Watch 4 series has leaked many times before, including at retailers such as Amazon Canada. Samsung has even confirmed that its next smartwatches will run One UI Watch, a fork of Wear OS 3. However, WalkingCat has leaked what appear to be product slides from Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Watch 4 series presentation, due on August 11 at its next Galaxy Unpacked event.
As one slide below shows, all Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic models will feature the same Exynos W920 SoC based on a 5 nm manufacturing process. They will also have 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, matching a rumour circulated by SamMobile. The slide confirms that there will only be two sizes per model, along with their battery sizes and various sensors. However, these were known previously.
Other slides also provide a deeper look at One UI Watch than Samsung has offered so far. Based on the information presented, it seems that One UI Watch will support native sleep and blood oxygen tracking, which is currently missing from Wear OS. Additionally, another slide outlines what details Samsung's body composition tracking provides. Supposedly, the sensor can detect muscle, fat and body mass, as well as BMI and water levels.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series will debut alongside the Galaxy Buds 2, which WalkingCat has also leaked. Incidentally, hands-on photos and videos of Samsung's next TWS earbuds have already started turning up online, too.
