Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 15 NP950QCG-K01CA
The Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 15.6 is Samsung’s first laptop equipped with a QLED screen. It is an ultra-thin notebook that also has strong performance. The Samsung Galaxy Book Flex brings a 360-degree folding effect and provides four forms. Users can flip the keyboard 360 degrees to the back of the screen, change to a tablet in seconds and enjoy the large screen. They can also rotate the keyboard 270° and let it stand on the table. When flipped 180°, it is more convenient for working, the display can also be shown to other people, which is useful for presentations. Compared with traditional IPS screens, QLED screens use quantum dot luminescence technology, which has a wider colour gamut and higher purity. The screen frame of the Galaxy Book Flex 15.6 is only 4.9 mm wide. The large screen ratio brought by the narrow bezel provides users with a shocking visual impact when using it, giving people a sense of immersion. For users who often complain about the lack of screen brightness under environmental lighting, this QLED display has an "outdoor mode" that can stimulate up to 600 nits of screen brightness, allowing users to use the computer comfortably under strong light.
The S Pen has always been a feature of the Note series of phones, but on the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex, the new S Pen can bring users a near-real writing experience with 4096-level pressure and delicate strokes, easily satisfying a user’s painting or writing needs. Users can also complete operations such as turning a PPT and adjusting the volume through the gesture remote control function. Thanks to the aluminium body, the 15.6-inch version of the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex weighs only 1.57 kg. In terms of performance, the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex is equipped with an Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor, 12 GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. It has no problems with large-scale games and has excellent compatibility. At the same time, it can multitask well, and the 69.7Wh large-capacity battery is enough to meet the needs of ordinary users for a whole day. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex is a well balanced device for entertainment and work. It is suitable for users who have a higher budget for a notebook that is satisfactory in all aspects.

The Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 15 is a blue bombshell with a bright QLED display, but suffers from an oddly placed fingerprint scanner and half-sized Shift key.

The Samsung Galaxy Book Flex is a device with a lot of potential – a gorgeous display and excellent battery life would make it a desirable device. But a few odd design choices make it hard to recommend.

Besides our not knowing how the retail version will perform, the Galaxy Book Flex does have some flakiness around the S Pen air-gesture feature, and an uncomfortable keyboard. But there are also plenty of positives. Innovative features like the S Pen stylus itself and wireless charging are unobtrusive enough that you can ignore them if you don't need them, and they don't hurt the laptop's impressive track record in the crucial areas of build quality, weight, and price. Overall, the Galaxy Book Flex is shaping up to be an excellent 2-in-1 convertible laptop.

Throughout this Samsung Galaxy Book Flex review, I've been impressed more often than not. Amazing battery life and decent 10th Gen Core i7 performance combine for a 15-inch laptop that is made for work, while its built-in S-Pen is a boon for the creative class.

The Galaxy Book Flex is one of the best 2-in-1 laptops available. The 360-degree hinge, bundled S-Pen and gorgeous QLED screen all combine to make an excellent device for entry-level creatives and students. But since it costs a few hundred quid more than standard ultrabooks, you should only consider the Flex if you plan on making the most out of its creative chops.

Samsung's 15.6-inch convertible offers a compact case, very good battery life, and a very bright display with a brightness of up to 600 nits. Its touchscreen display (QLED, IPS, FHD) does not only support finger but also stylus input using the included S Pen.

The clock rate depends on the processor model ranging from 300 MHz base to 1050 - 1100 MHz boost. The Ice-Lake chips are produced in the modern 10nm process at Intel produced.
Intel Iris Plus Graphics G4 (Ice Lake 48 EU): Integrated graphics card in Intel Ice-Lake G4 SoCs based on the new Gen. 11 architecture with 48 of the 64 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). The clock rate depends on the processor model ranging from 300 MHz base to 1050 - 1100 MHz boost. The Ice-Lake chips are produced in the modern 10nm+ process at Intel produced.
NVIDIA GeForce MX250: Successor of the MX150 and still based on the same Pascal GP108 chip (similar to the desktop GT 1030) but with higher clock speeds. Available in two versions, a normal 25 Watt version and a low power version with 10 Watt TDP and reduced performance. The 25 Watt version e.g. offers a 21% higher boost clock than the old MX150 leading to a 5% performance gain.

Intel Ice Lake:
i7-1065G7: Ice Lake-based quad-core processor for thin and light laptops. The four cores are clocked at 1.3 GHz to 3.9 GHz and should offer 18% more IPC (instructions per clock) than the previous generations (and therefore partly close the clock speed gap). Produced on first-gen 10 nm Intel process.
i5-1035G4: A low-power, Ice Lake family processor (SoC) featuring 4 cores, 8 threads, 6 MB of L3 cache and the Iris Plus G4 (48 EUs) iGPU. This Core i5 saw the light of day in H2 2019; it is designed for use in highly portable consumer laptops. The CPU cores run at 1.1 GHz to 3.7 GHz. The Sunny Cove microarchitecture that is in use here is notable for several improvements over Skylake including support for new technologies, new instruction sets and fast LPDDR4-3733 RAM. There is no PCIe 4 support here, however.
