The Beelink EQi12 has been refreshed, and the brand-new configuration of the mini PC packs the Intel Core i5 1235U. It's from the Alder Lake-U series, and the company claims that it's a more capable option than the one with the 12450H. To be precise, per the comparison shared, it can achieve 41.33% higher score on Time Spy and 25.56% better score on Fire Strike.
Beelink also notes that the 1235U configuration of the Beelink EQi2 has a better-equipped iGPU than the config with the Core i5 12450H. More specifically, it has the Xe Graphics G7 with 80 EUs, while the latter features the Xe G4 with 48 EUs. There's an improvement in terms of system noise as well.
As the company highlights, the operating noise can be up to 8% lower than the configuration with the 12450H. The other aspects of the new version remain pretty much the same. That is, the newer configuration still comes with an 85 W built-in power supply and MSC 2.0 cooling system.
Regarding the port configuration, it's also similar to the other configs. To be specific, the EQi12 has the following ports:
- 3x 10 Gbps USB Type-A
- 1x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 1x USB Type-C
- 2x HDMI
- 2x Ethernet
- 1x 3.5 mm audio
It's worth noting that the Type-C port isn't a full-function port. Instead, it's for data transfers only. Among the other highlights are WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, up to 32 GB of RAM, and support for up to 4 TB storage (4 TB Crucial P310 curr. $229.99 on Amazon). The starting price of the EQi12 with the Core i5 1235U is $319, and it's currently available on the global Beelink online store.
