Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max in the global market, and the EU version comes with a whopping 9,210mAh rated battery capacity. It's claimed to offer up to 3 days of "worry-free" use, and the 8/256GB variant retails for €599.90.

After days of teasers, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is now official. It has launched in the global market, but the specs aren't exactly identical in all regions. In the EU, for example, the battery capacity of this mid-range phone, which is one of its big highlights, is different.

The EU variant gets a 9,210mAh battery, while the phone features a larger 10,000mAh battery in some of the other regions. This is a relatively small rated capacity difference, and Xiaomi claims that the EU model can still offer up to 3 days of "worry-free" use with a single full charge.

Speaking of which, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max has support for 100W fast charging, and it can reverse charge at 27W, which is a handy feature, especially for a phone with such a large battery capacity (2-pack Iniu 1-feet 240W cable curr. $9.87 on Amazon).

Beyond the battery and charging speed, the other specs seem to be well-balanced for a 2026 upper mid-range phone. It's powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5, a recently announced Qualcomm SoC that's said to offer 21% better performance than the last-gen chipset.

On the front, the smartphone features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 2772x1280 pixels resolution. It has a 120Hz refresh rate, supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Camera-wise, there's a 50MP primary camera on the back that's paired with an 8MP ultrawide. The phone sports a 32MP sensor on the front.

Other highlights include a dual-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, WiFi 6, LPDDR5X RAM, IP66/IP68 ratings, and up to UFS 4.1 storage. There are four configurations available, with up to 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. In the EU, the config with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage is retailing for €599.90.
