Redmi 9C, Redmi 9A, and Redmi 9 specs and pricing leak: Mediatek G70 and 5000 mAh battery under US$200

Tipster @Sudanshu1414 recently unveiled detailed specs and pricing for the Redmi 9 series, including the Redmi 9A, Redmi 9C, and Redmi 9. According to the leak, these upcoming devices will launch both in India and other regions, though there are no details about launch timeframes.

According to the leak, the Redmi 9 will feature the Mediatek Helio G70 with a Mali G52 GPU, driving a 6.5-in FHD+ display. The Redmi 9 will have a quad 13MP camera setup and a hefty 5000 mAh battery.

The Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A, in contrast, tone things down considerably and appear to be near-identical.

The main difference appears to be that the Redmi 9C will feature a dual camera, while the Redmi 9A features a run-of-the-mill 13MP shooter. Both these devices feature entry-level 6.5 in HD+ displays and the Mediatek Helio G35 SoC. They both have 5000 mAh batteries though. Combined with the low-profile SoC, this might lead to stellar battery life.

In terms of pricing, the tipster predicts that all these devices will come in at under US$200. The top-end Redmi 9 will retail just a hair below at approximately US$199. The Redmi 9C will sell for approximately US$166, while the entry-level Redmi 9A might sell for as little as US$110.

While these aren't exactly earth-shattering devices, they'll offer value-conscious buyers in markets like India plenty of bang for buck.
