Realme P4s set to launch soon with 8,000 mAh battery, 6,500 nits, and IP69
Following the Realme P4 Lite, P4, P4 Power, P4 Pro, and P4x, the next model in the series is already in the starting blocks, as the Realme P4s can already be seen on a teaser website ahead of the mid-range smartphone’s official unveiling on Wednesday, August 26.
The Realme P4s features a conventional design with a flat plastic frame, an almost square camera module, and a solid-color back available in either gray or turquoise. The smartphone stands out from the competition primarily thanks to orange color accents and an eye-catching texture on the camera module. The manufacturer’s marketing is exaggerating a bit, as with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra, the Realme P4s is hardly a true "performance king."
More impressive is the battery, which has a capacity of 8,000 mAh and can be charged via USB-C at up to 80 watts. Realme uses a Samsung M14 AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2,772 x 1,272 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a peak HDR brightness of 6,500 nits. This mid-range smartphone features a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
The Realme P4s’ body is IP69-certified and therefore waterproof. According to Realme, the device is also well-suited for smartphone gaming enthusiasts thanks to a particularly large heat sink. All remaining details regarding specifications and pricing are expected to be officially confirmed by the launch on August 26 at the latest.
