The Razer Blade 15 might now be up to date with the latest in mobile graphics that NVIDIA has to offer, but later this year — if we get lucky — this compact yet powerful machine for gamers on the go might get two new display options. Those who can reach this year's CES can see two Razer Blade 15 prototypes on display and the rest of us can only hope that at least one of the two makes it to the mass production stage.
The aforementioned Razer Blade 15 prototypes feature two display options: a 240 Hz panel and a 4K OLED touchscreen. Although having a touchscreen in a gaming laptop is not that important, Razer claims that this solution can deliver "amazing color, deep blacks, and efficient performance," but does not reveal any other details.
All Razer Blade 15 variants currently available for purchase feature a 15.6-inch full HD 144 Hz display, but some markets should get a 4K touchscreen display variant at the end of this month. Priced at US$2,899.99, this notebook features an Intel Core i7-8750H processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics, 16 GB of memory, and a 512 GB SSD.
If you could choose what Razer does next, would you go with the 240 Hz display or the 4K OLED touchscreen? Why? Let us know in the comments below.
