The CAPA13R is a single-board computer that measures 146 x 104 mm and is equipped with a choice of AMD Ryzen Embedded processors. Specifically, Axiomtek has developed V1807B and V1605B models. While both quad-core Zen+ processors, the V1807B has a higher boost clock and a much higher TDP than the V1605B.
Both versions can be equipped with up to 16 GB of DDR4 SODIMM RAM, although the V1807B supports faster memory. The CAPA13R has a SATA 3.0 slot and an M.2 B-key slot for adding a SATA SSD. Axiomtek has included an M.2 E-key slot for adding a Wi-Fi modem, which operates at PCIe x1 and USB 2.0.
A DisplayPort and two HDMI outputs handle image output, while Axiomtek has included the following other connections, too:
- LVDS (18/24-bit single/dual-channel)
- 4x independent displays
- HD audio codec with optional audio I/O add-on
- 2x USB 3.1 Gen1 (i.e. 3.0) host ports
- 2x USB 2.0 headers
- RS232/422/485 header
- RS232 header
- 8x GPIO; SMBus (I2C compatible)
The board also supports TPM 2.0, along with an optional fan and a 3 V/220 mAh Lithium battery. The Windows 10 SBC is available to order now, but its price remains undisclosed.
