Sony has officially revealed the PS Plus free games for January 2026, giving players a fresh lineup to start the new year. The new titles will be available to PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Deluxe members starting January 6.
One of the games in the January lineup was already leaked earlier today, and it now appears that the leak was accurate. Need for Speed Unbound is officially part of the PlayStation Plus January 2026 free games. It is the latest mainline entry in the long-running Need for Speed franchise, released back in 2022. However, it was previously available as part of the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for Extra and Deluxe members. Because of this, many subscribers have already tried it.
Alongside Need for Speed Unbound, Core Keeper is also part of the PlayStation Plus free games lineup for January 2026. This is a mining sandbox adventure that can be played solo or with up to eight players online. The game takes place in a massive underground cavern filled with secrets, creatures, and ancient mysteries waiting to be uncovered.
The third game included in the January 2026 lineup is Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed. This is a full remake of the original Epic Mickey, rebuilt as a colorful 3D platformer. The game features classic platforming levels, puzzle-solving, collectibles like Disney pins, and appearances from characters such as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
Before the January lineup fully takes over, players still have time to claim the PlayStation Plus free games for December 2025, which include LEGO Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, The Outlast Trials, Synduality: Echo of Ada, and Neon White. These titles will remain available until January 5, after which they will be replaced by the new January selection.
