Pixel Watch 5 price leaked ahead of official launch, more expensive across the board

Google announced the date for its Pixel launch event recently, and quite a lot of information about the upcoming Pixel 11 series has leaked, including pricing. Now, the different variants as well as pricing have leaked for the Pixel Watch 5 lineup, and unsurprisingly, they are more expensive than the previous generation.

The information comes courtesy of credible leaker billbil-kun (via Dealabs), who claims that the Pixel Watch 5 will be offered in both Bluetooth/WI-Fi and LTE models. Till now, the certifications for the Pixel Watch 5 series showed only LTE models, but there will be cheaper models without LTE as well.

The following are the leaked prices for the 41mm and 45mm variants:

As expected, the Pixel Watch 5 lineup is more expensive than the Pixel Watch 4 models. The 41mm variants will see a $50 price increase, while the 45mm models will be $30 pricier. For reference, Google kept the Pixel Watch 4 pricing the same as the Pixel Watch 3. The upcoming price increase is due to significantly higher component prices, and that has affected the Pixel 11 series as well.

Google will announce the Pixel 11 phones and the Pixel Watch 5 on August 12, with pre-orders going live the same day. Sales should start by August 20, according to the leak.
