PELADN HO4 mini PC launches with sleek design and eGPU support

PELADN has launched a new mini PC in China called the HO4. It's an Intel Alder Lake system with the Core i5-12450H CPU. This processor features eight cores and can offer a decent performance for everyday tasks. While the processor's iGPU can't deliver good gaming performance like the AMD alternatives, there's a solution for that.

The HO4 mini PC comes with a 40 Gbps USB4 port, which enables eGPU support. Pairing it with a GPU dock, you can get a decent gaming experience out of the Intel mini PC. But yes, it would've been much better to see an OCuLink port instead, as that offers a much better gaming performance.

Besides that, the PELADN HO4 comes equipped with up to 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage. To ensure stable performance under load, there's a robust cooling setup. It also comes with a generous number of connectivity ports, which include two USB 2.0 Type-A, two USB 3.2 Type-A, and two 2.5G Ethernet.

The mini PC has a sleek build too. It sports a metal alloy chassis with an RGB light strip on the corners. Pricing-wise, the base configuration of HO4 with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage starts at CNY 2099, which is around $290. The company has yet to announce pricing and availability for the global markets. However, the better-equipped PELADN HA-4 with the same design and AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS is already available for purchase on Amazon at $399.99.
