Model: Full-display smartphones are becoming a standard and many manufacturers like Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi present their version of this kind of design. Following the trend, Oukitel released the Oukitel Mix 2 to keep up with the trends of the industry. The Mix 2 is a high-end flagship model and aims to become a long-term best seller. As for which paradigm did Oukitel follow, that is Xiaomi’s with its own Mix 2. And they surely did a great job, as it seems to be an excellent device not only due to its large FHD+ screen but also because of its powerful SoC, large memory, big battery, quick charger, high definition cameras and delicate glossy design. The Oukitel Mix 2 has high-quality glass on front and back side, which is actually more durable than ever. Also according to the company this glass is daily water resistant, and also daily dust resistant. Besides that, the frame is made from metal including all buttons. Overall this full-screen smartphone provides a premium feeling as other much more expensive devices. The Oukitel Mix 2 has a 5.99" 18:9 FHD+ (2160x1600) screen, 6 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, 4K video recording, and dual-sim support. It makes do with a glass back, but it has a bigger 4,080 mAh battery. The Oukitel Mix 2 has a 13 MP front-facing camera, and a dual-camera configuration on the back, combined with a dual flash. The dual rear camera setup consists of a main camera with 21 MP and a secondary one with 2 MP. The Photo quality is very good for this price range. Photos are sharp, and colors are natural.
It even has an octa-core processor in the form of the Helio P25, paired with impressive 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage space. This is not all, since storage space can be expanded by up to 512GB. Moreover, the Oukitel Mix 2 uses the far more ubiquitous micro USB port. While the latter might not be to everyone's preferences, if users are looking to pick up a new slim-bezel phone without replacing all their chargers, Oukitel's phone stands alone. The best part? The Oukitel Mix 2 even has a headphone jack. So many recent flagships have dropped this basic feature, it is almost incredible that it needs to be pointed out as an advantage. But at least with the Mix 2, all those headphones users have accrued over the years will not need to be replaced just so that user can listen to music on their phone. According to the company, the Mix 2 should have a 4,080 mAh battery. This battery provides approximately 8 hours for playing games and approximately 22 hours for calling. Overall, it provides very good autonomy for this kind of device. Oukitel might not be a well-known brand but their phones are becoming more and more famous and are slowly becoming a big player in China. It is definitely a cheaper alternative for someone who needs a flagship device without the flagship price tag.
