Oppo Find X10 Ultra with triple 200 MP, Vivo X500 Ultra with dual 200 MP cameras tipped

Oppo’s Find X10 series and Vivo’s X500 series of flagship smartphones are missing their Ultra variants. Both are expected to arrive early next year in China, but their global availability is still questionable. Regardless, there have been quite a few leaks for both phones in the past pertaining to their cameras, and a new one has just listed the arrangement for both, indicating a total of five 200 MP cameras between the two phones.

Leaker Yogesh Brar took to X to share the cameras on the Oppo Find X10 Ultra and the Vivo X500 Ultra. The former is said to carry three 200 MP sensors, including the primary, ultrawide, and 3x telephoto, with a fourth 50 MP 10x telephoto camera. That’s a bit different from previous leaks, as the phone was said to carry a 200 MP primary, a 200 MP 3x telephoto, 50 MP ultrawide, and 50 MP 10x telephoto.

With a triple 200 MP setup, it would be a combination of the camera setups from the Find X9 Ultra and the Find X10 Pro Max. The former features a 200 MP main sensor, a 200MP 3x telephoto, a 50 MP 10x telephoto, and a 50 MP ultrawide. The latter comes with a 200 MP main camera, a 200 MP 3x telephoto, and a 200 MP ultrawide.

For the Vivo X500 Ultra, the leaker mentions that it will come with two 200 MP cameras, including the primary and the telephoto. The ultrawide will be 50 MP. That’s essentially the same setup as the Vivo X500 Pro Max but with an upgraded primary.

Due to memory prices, it was originally believed that neither Oppo nor Vivo would launch their Ultra variants globally. However, a report from late last month revealed that the Vivo X500 Ultra could arrive in select markets outside China. The same can’t be said for the Oppo Find X10 Ultra. It should also be noted that the brands have not confirmed details about these upcoming Ultra phones.
