Reviews for the Oppo F29 Pro

80% Oppo F29 Pro Review: Polished performer that delivers where it matters
Source: The Times of India English
The Oppo F29 Pro isn't out to rewrite the rulebook, but it plays its hand with confidence and delivers a well-rounded experience that's hard to fault for the price. Its design and display punch well above its weight, everyday performance is reliable, and the battery life, coupled with fast charging, makes it an excellent companion for busy users. There are, of course, a few compromises — the camera system, while capable, falls short in low light, and power users might crave a bit more grunt under the hood. But for the average user looking for a stylish, dependable smartphone that won't break the bank, the Oppo F29 Pro is a smart choice.

78% OPPO F29 Pro review: decent performance, incredible durability
Source: 91mobiles English
OPPO has set a new benchmark by offering triple IP ratings and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the pocket-friendly F29 Pro. The phone handles daily tasks well, adds a handful of practical AI features, and delivers reliable battery life and charging speeds. That said, heavy gamers might lean towards alternatives like the OPPO X7 Pro or iQOO Neo 10R, purely for their more powerful chipsets. And while the F29 Pro’s primary camera performs reliably across various lighting conditions, users seeking a more versatile camera setup could consider options like the Nothing Phone 3a Pro. Still, OPPO’s AI features – at least to me – are among the most practical in this price range. Very few OEMs have managed to implement such useful tools under Rs 30,000, and for that reason, the OPPO F29 Pro is certainly worth considering.

75% Oppo F29 Pro review: A tough and reliable phone
Source: India Today English
The Oppo F29 Pro is priced at Rs 27,999 and is a good option for many. Its military-grade build, massive 6,000mAh battery, and vibrant AMOLED screen make it a reliable daily driver. While it might not be the top option for heavy gaming, performance in general is smooth for everyday tasks. The camera performs well in good lighting, though some users may miss having an ultrawide sensor. Additionally, some users may also find the pre-installed bloatware a bit inconvenient, though most third-party apps can be uninstalled. That said, if you are looking for a phone that can withstand daily wear and tear, last long on a single charge, and offer a smooth general experience, the Oppo F29 Pro is a solid option.

80% OPPO F29 Pro review: All-weather smartphone
Source: The Indian Express English
The OPPO F29 Pro is an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a mid-range smartphone under Rs 30,000 and doesn’t care about benchmark performance. Despite being a rugged device, the OPPO F29 Pro doesn’t look like one and features almost two days’ worth of battery life, fast charging, and a quad-curved display that makes it feel like a high-end device from the inside out.

6.70":

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.

» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.

78.25%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
