Open-world survival game gets a free demo on Steam for a limited time

The open-world survival game Nightingale now has a free demo on Steam, and that's a not-so-common thing for titles that are on early access. Looking back, Nightingale's first release was on February 20, 2024, and it has yet to reach its 1.0 version.

Speaking of the game's launch, it didn't really go as smoothly as the developers expected. But, on the bright side, the game has improved a lot since its release, thanks to the continuous updates that the developers are pushing. There are more features and content than before, and the free demo on Steam could help this open-world survival title gain the traction that it needs.

The studio behind the game, Inflexion Games, didn't really specify the window for this free demo on Steam. However, the developers noted that it would be available to download for a very limited time. For those who enjoy the demo and want to purchase Nightingale, there's a special discount available.

To be specific, the open-world Victorian survival game is currently 40% off on Steam. With this special discount in place, the title can be scored for $17.99 instead of its regular $29.99 price tag. Of course, it's worth noting that this isn't the all-time low price for the title, as it dropped to $14.99 during the Steam Winter Sale 2024.
