The OnePlus 15 is now official in China. It's the company's first phone that's powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and besides the SoC, the smartphone brings a handful of upgrades over the predecessor. While the brand has yet to confirm when the device will make a global debut, it's already available to global buyers via import through Giztop.
On Giztop, the base variant of the OnePlus 15, which comes with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, is going for $699, while the top-end variant with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage costs $949. For reference, the starting configuration of the phone in China costs CNY 3,999, around $561, while the top-specced option costs CNY 5,399, about $758.
Now, while these import prices may not seem bad, it's worth noting that the OnePlus 15 is expected to launch globally soon. To be specific, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 flagship phone will reportedly make a global debut on November 13, 2025, which is around the corner.
Another thing to consider before importing the OnePlus 15 from China is that it will come with the Chinese version of ColorOS 16. Although there will be support for different languages, there could be China-specific apps installed. Moreover, some features that work on global phones, like Android Auto, may not run on the imported phone, and the warranty of the phone won't be the same as the official one.
For those who are interested to learn more about the phone itself, besides the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the 165 Hz screen of the OnePlus 15 is a big highlight. It also comes with a capable camera setup that's backed by an in-house camera engine, and the device sports a large 7,300 mAh battery with support for 120 W fast charging (140 W Ugreen Nexode charger curr. $69.99 on Amazon).
