The OnePlus 13 is expected to make its global debut soon. With the Snapdragon 8 Elite and a capable camera setup, this new flagship will be going against the yet-to-be-announced Galaxy S25 series in the international market.
Right ahead of this global announcement, the OnePlus 12 has seen a hefty price cut. The variant with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage is currently available on the official site for $649.99, which is a $250 discount from its regular price tag. There's no word on how long this deal will last, but given that the global announcement for the successor is around the corner, it might not stay up for long.
As for the phone itself, the OnePlus 12 did well in our review. It got a "very good" rating, and we like a good number of things about the phone. For example, we praised its premium build quality, which is complemented by the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection for the display. Although, unlike some of the other last-gen flagships, it has an IP65 rating, which is something to consider while using the device near water bodies.
Even though previous OnePlus phones were criticized for their average camera performance, this one comes with a capable setup. The LYT-808 primary sensor and the 3x telephoto offered decent shots in our tests, and the phone's cameras should be good enough for most scenarios (DJI Osmo SE mobile gimbal curr. $69 on Amazon).
We also liked the bloat-free software experience of the OnePlus 12. The phone ships with OxygenOS 14, but the company has recently offered the Android 15 update. It's also expected to get major updates for four years and security patches for five years. You can learn more about this Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship from the video below.
