Olympia launches HYSAK E-MTB with US$6,500 starting price
Unveiled just in time for the summer, the Olympia HYSAK electric mountain bike is now rolling out to the dealers of the Italian brand. Sadly, it is not available on Amazon yet and it doesn't come cheap, but what this bike can deliver might be worth the effort of obtaining one.
Built around a 6061 aluminum frame that houses the removable and quite compact PowerNine 900Wh battery, the Olympia HYSAK uses a 90 Nm Oli EDGE motor which is located at the bottom of the frame and features a torque sensor, Rock Shox suspension with 160 mm travel, Shimano Deore 12-speed transmission, Shimano quad-piston hydraulic disc brakes (203 mm front and 180 mm rear), a Sella Italia Model X Comfort saddle, as well as a 27.5-inch rear wheel alongside a 29-inch front one. According to Olympia, the range of this bike can exceed 180 miles (about 290 kilometers).
The list of customization options includes only two color options (red and grey), as well as three distinct frame sizes, namely S/M, M/L, and L/XL. In Germany, the prices start at 5,948 Euros (over US$6,500). This E-MTB might not be available in many other markets yet, so the final price will depend on retailer and configuration once its reach expands.
