One-netbook has started selling the ONEXPLAYER 2 through Indiegogo. Initially available for US$899, the ONEXPLAYER 2 combines AMD's most powerful RDNA 2 iGPU with detachable controllers, an 8.4-inch display and a large battery, among other features.

One-netbook is now selling the ONEXPLAYER 2, having changed its launch date for a second time. As we have discussed previously, One-netbook has brought the gaming handheld to Indiegogo rather than selling it directly on its website. Incidentally, the GPD Win 4 is now available on the same crowdfunding platform.

At the time of writing, the ONEXPLAYER 2 campaign has received nearly US$450,000 from backers, with prices starting at US$899. One-netbook has since clarified that early bird pricing will remain in place until December 20 at 00:00 UTC (16:00 PST). For reference, ONEXPLAYER 2 early bird pricing is as follows:

  • 16 GB RAM/512 GB storage - US$899
  • 16 GB RAM/1 TB storage - US$999
  • 16 GB RAM/2 TB storage - US$1,099
  • 32 GB RAM/1 TB storage - US$1,099
  • 32 GB RAM/2 TB storage - US$1,299

After tomorrow, the ONEXPLAYER 2 will start at US$989, a US$90 rise. However, the 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage version will become US$100 more expensive, with the flagship 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage edition receiving a US$130 uplift to US$1,429. According to One-netbook, the highest price rises will be for the device's fourth and fifth configurations, which will be going up by US$200.

As the image below highlights, the ONEXPLAYER 2 features the Ryzen 7 6800U APU, an 8.4-inch and 2.5K display, plus a 65.5 Wh battery. Additionally, the device contains a built-in kickstand, supports pen input and has removable controllers. Currently, One-netbook hopes to start shipping ONEXPLAYER 2 units to backers in March 2023. This shipment date applies to its magnetic keyboard, handheld connector and stylus too, which sell for US$39, US$29 and US$39, respectively.
