Last month Nokia finally entered the tablet arena with their 10.1" Lumia 2520 tablet, and they could have a successor planned for early next year. The latest report comes courtesy of Digitimes and their industry sources, who claim an 8" Lumia 2020 will make its debut in early 2014.
The first mention we saw of a second Nokia tablet came courtesy of an evleaks tweet earlier this month, where the prolific leaker referred to the device by its codename "Illusionist". Now the Digitimes report mentions that the Finnish company plans on having the tablet ready by early next-year, hoping to target the mid-range to high-end segment of the market.
Details of the device are still scarce for the time being, although it is expected to feature a Snapdragon 800 CPU and Windows RT just like the Lumia 2520. The Digitimes article also made mention of plans by LG and Sony to release tablets in the upcoming months and we should have a lot more info soon.
